Unable to log in to my bt emails. When I try, using my email address and password it takes me to https://www.bt.com/?generic which is basically an advert for BT and says login for great deals for broadband customers like you.  I am not a broadband customer. Tried countless times with no success.  Anyone any idea what is happening?

You might want to confirm whether the log in is in Web Mail or a client. If you are a non BT broadband customer without premium service you cannot use a client to log in. Only Web Mail.

I doubt a client would have the capability to redirect to a web page. 😉

What happens when you try to log on using this link?

BTMail 

Have you tried accessing the email account via logging onto your MyBT and going to "Your Products"  then "Email Manage"?

If you can access it that way, what status is the email account showing?

Have tried that. Shows 2 active accounts - its the favorite account I can`t access. I have not yet tried the other.

Have tried that. It shows 2 live accounts and I cannot login to either. Still get the "generic" advert.
