Re: Reported error (0x800CCC0E)

Friday - had a Thunderbird update...

Afterwards had a series of ( one for each BTinternet e-mail account  in Thunderbird ) a message about security issue on mail:Btinternet.com:995, asking if I wanted to overide Thunderbirds security and make an exception for each.  Thissite is attempting to identify itself with invalid information.

Also says Legitimate banks, stores and other public sites will not ask you to do this.

So IS BTInternet mail unsafe, been compromised, or merely lapsed security certificates???

How do I add .jpg images from myPC C: drive on here! Camera above does not allow C: to be used as source???

Re: Reported error (0x800CCC0E)

Yes, this is a different problem to the thread you posted on so moved it to get better response.

Seems a bit odd, I would have thought there would be many posts if it was a general problem, Thunderbird 60.3.0 works fine with no complaints about certs here. If it only occurred after the update, it would seem to point to a Thunderbird problem.
