email address disappeared from my account

This has just happened to me. I got a message that my account needed updating, and in the process somehow I've lost access to one of my sub-email accounts. It's not on the list of email accounts, so now I don't know how to recover it.

Where did you get the message about your account needing updated and what needed to be done to update it?

If it was an email were their links within the email asking you to click on them to change your password?

Did you use the links in the email?
