Reloading emails from webmail into Outlook

Go to solution

I use Outlook as my email client. I recently accidentally irretrievably deleted 4 emails from Outlook. The emails were sent to me today so are still in my BT webmail. How can I mark these emails in BT webmail so that they are reloaded into Outlook? I need them to be reloaded showing their originators in the 'From' field, so simply forwarding them to myself is not suitable.

I presume you have configured Outlook as POP3 rather than IMAP, or they would have been deleted in webmail as well.

Unless you deleted them by pressing Shift and Delete, they would simply have been moved to your Trash folder in Outlook.

Assuming you did fully delete the mails, move them to another folder in webmail, mark them as Unread and then move them back to the Inbox.

Yes, POP3.

I accidentally deleted them by pressing the backspace key - this apparently does the same as SHIFT+Delete.
