I have to do a clean install on my Mac M1, but Time Machine save every thing bur BT Mail . I am also using CC cloner but it does not save anything of BT Mail. I really need a way to save these folders.
David
If you have not downloaded all the BTMail emails on to your computer and deleted them from the BTMail servers they will be stored on the BTMail servers and will be there for you when you want to access them.
If you are using a email client/app which has been set up as IMAP it means that the folders will be on the BTMail server.
To check if they are there just log onto your BTMail email account using a web browser by clicking on the following link..
If it is just your email contacts that you want you should open your email app or where ever you have stored your contacts and export your contacts to a file then save that file.
Without knowing how you have stored your contacts it is not possible to give instructions how to do that.
I would also go to your home folder/Library/Mail folder and copy that, just in case what has been suggested doesn't work for you. Your emails should be inside the V10 folder in there. With a bit of luck the Mail app. should read it.
I do not understand what you are. telling me. Does it mean all of my contacts are saved on the BTMail servers? I have not deleted anything
I have logged onto my account using google as per normal I then clicked the link you sent me and it took me into my email. It looked identical the the normal screen I get when opening my BT mail.
When I get an email I wish to keep I drag it over to my my folders and drop it into the relevant folder.
If you only ever use a web browser to access your email, there will be nothing on your Mac, everything will be on the BT mail server.
That link is just a shortcut to your normal email webpage login.
