You were right, the settings weren't labelled correctly, it wasn't ticked in the ''Switch on SPAM filtering'' so I've altered that which should help
I can't figure out how to fill the rule boxes in to make sure I'm only getting emails adressed to me but hopefully now the settings are labelled right, it should cut down on the spam

Two days and I've had no spam emails in my bt webmail inbox they are all going into my spam folder plus not coming through on my phone anymore either

Just to check that it is not the spam engines having caught up can you turn it off again to see if they still go to spam or back into your inbox.
