I received an email today using my BT e mail address which was headed ' We now require all users to refresh their email accounts'. It goes onto say 'following a recent update to our systems aimed at enhacing your security, we now require all users to validate their accounts'. Finally, the email provides a hyperlink named 'Verify Account', along with the statement 'the fastest way to unblock your account is to click on the hyperlink'. There are red flags including a spelling error, and an urgency request to 'verify your account within 72 hours' or 'a failure to do this may result in a temporary block of the account'.

Hi @TonY20 and thanks for posting.
I completely agree with @Keith_Beddoe . Your best option would be to delete the email.
Cheers
