I'm trying to access Yahoo finance too. Should I pay BT for that as well?
I'm asking why Yahoo redirects me to BT and you are telling me that I have to start paying for email? What's changed in the last 48 hours?
Other people asking too.........

Lots of other people reporting this issue over the last few days. Something has clearly happened somewhere.
Presumably Yahoo have have closed the back door access to BTYahoo mails which should never have been open in the first place.

Why should BT provide you with free email facilities if you are no longer a customer?
Would you expect to call out the AA to fix your car if you had ceased your membership?
I'm asking what's changed and for someone from BT to help resolve (as it's possible). If you can't help then no need to reply.
There will be no 'resolution' as there is nothing wrong. What has changed is an incorrect method of access has been removed.
You're not helping so why post? You don't see to know the situation for sure, aren't speaking in official capacity so how can you be so sure? I'm asking for someone from BT to help.
If you have any other thoughts you're more than welcome to start another thread of your own.
If there is anyone from BT in an official capacity that could help clarify what is going on then it would be much appreciated.
Topic is why anything to do with Yahoo that previously worked is now getting redirected to BT home page: Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Mail etc....
Try https://uk.yahoo.com/ instead.
Or https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/ for finance.
You will not get your BT Email as you are not a BT Broadband customer any more.
If you want to continue using BT Email, then you have to pay for BT Premium Mail, which will be £7.50 a month.
Can only think you like trolling.

That will still re-direct to the BT login if using a @btinternet.com email address (as it should in my opinion)
Hi @Bltfreefly,
To log into BT Yahoo Mail or BT Mail you should be doing so at our own BT Email page.
In order to keep your BT Yahoo Mail account active you need to have had it linked to your active BT Broadband account. If you don't have one, you need to have a BT Premium Mail service set up. It's possible that the account has been restricted which is why you can't get in.
Thanks
