Unable to do anything but open emails using Google Chrome, cannot even access settings. Changing browser to Edge all the procedures are available, eg., Delete single emails or in bulk, access settings. Any suggestions to sort out Chrome?

I have no problems using Chrome. I suggest that you clear the cache and browsing history etc from Chrome and check it is the latest version.
If that does not work try a reset of Chrome by going to its settings > advance > reset and clean up.
