PLEASE HELP FORUM MODERATORS
My husband and I cannot send email from Outlook
Yesterday I spent an hour on line with tech support who went into my computer to check settings.
He or She did all the checks but nothing worked After the hour I waited no responses and then whoever logged off.
I have reloaded Outlook but still not working.
I have looked at the sites and this has happened to others, one was due to a Nas drive and mine I could not find.
Most responses required ?resets by BT of a server. How can I get this achieved myself if an hour with tech support has not achieved anything.
The message is :-
The server responded:421 Too many messages (126.96.36.199) from IP address 188.8.131.52.
I can do everything on web site but this is not the way I like to work.
PLEASE HELP I AM AT THE END OF MY TETHER.

I can send mail now in Outlook so whatever it was has been changed

I am getting the same 421 message - too many emails - looks like I sent a mail yesterday with a large bcc. It hasn't reset. I have an appt with BT tch line in 25 mins. Looking at the previous messages, it looks like I have to get BT to reset a counter, but I will just get told the usual story from BT "we don't do Outlook" re-load Outlook" (which I tried - putting my btinternet onto my tablet Outlook - where it won't send! What do I tell the BT techie to get him to do the reset?
The techie didn't call at the allotted time - but the problem got fixed about 10 mins later.
