The BT ID team have sent it to a specialist team to investigate. I've pushed them asking for an estimated response time from them. I'll hopefully have more news over the next few days.

Hi @unwina,

The team have been back to me. They're asking that you clear your cookies and cache etc and try access it again. If you can try it on another device it would be appreciated. Let me know how you get on.

Also, if this doesn't work, they've asked if they can reset your password and access the account on our side so they can test it.

same as before I tried firefox, chrome and vivaldi and it seemst to log in but then it justs gives up at teh same place as before.

I tried to edit the reply but it failed to work

So I decided to use my wifes laptop, normally we use Chrome on there but I loaded up a version of Firefox and then set FF back to day one deleting all history items (Everything).

The same thing happens as before as on my machine. When I start up BT.COM (MyBT) I can seem to login to the starting screen ok with the new (replaced ID) but it seems to load parts of the front section and then just rejects and says I have entered the wrong UID/PW. This is the exact same effect as when we were doing this when you changed the master ID.

As I said at the time its as if the front has accepted the change but the backend then wants a different UID/PW, the old uid/pw combination perhaps.

Oops sorry!, missed the request to set/reset my password.

Just to confirm the UID is the a*****n@btinternet.com one we are talking about. Not my old master UID/PW it was changed from.

If the above is correct then they can do this if it will help them. If this will affect my ability to access this on yahoo.com email then please advise me when they do this so I can prevent it locking out on my linked services that may quickly baulk the access.

Good Morning @unwina,

That's correct, the a account and not the other we spoke about. If you use the a account as an email the password for it will most likely change too. However; the original will not. I can let them know today that they can go ahead with it.

@DanielS is there a way to report the issues I'm having as described in https://community.bt.com/t5/BT-Infinity-Fibre-broadband/Infinity-uplift-causes-odd-restarts/m-p/1831...

I'm not sure how to report this Issue without access to MyBT which as you know is not working for me at the moment.
