Unwanted columns in sent email

Hi there, my email has recently developed a problem whereby the process of sending seems to put the text into columns. I use this email to send copy to people I work for and it has started to annoy them and I can't fix it! As far as I am aware, I haven't changed the layout of what I am sending. I'm writing it in the usual way which is in a word document (so I can get a word count, which I can't in the email) and then copying and pasting the body of the text into the email. At this point it still looks 'normal'. However when the recipient receives it, it has developed unwanted spaces which then has to be sorted out at their end. This is the process I have followed for a number of years without any problem. Can anyone please help?

Go to solution

If you are on the BTMail system and not the BTYahoo system log onto your account and go to the settings found by clicking on your user name at the right hand side. Once in the settings click on Mail then untick the box "compose message in rich text" then click save.
