Hi all,
I switched from plus net to BT yesterday, all services moved over smoothly. At plus net I had my personal email address linked to my plus net email address. When the sender used my personal address eg xxx@xxxx.com it found its way to me under the real address of xxxxxxx@plus.net.com.
How can I achieve this at BT, I will now have emails being bounced because they re not being picked up by plus net any more and I need them picked up on my new BT address.
Help gratefully received
Thanks

Not sure but as this is a public forum, I'd recommend removing your actual email addresses from this post
Hi,
that is a made up address for the purpose of demonstrating what I was after. Dave Smash was out of the fast show as in smashy and nicey 🙂
but i appreciate the good advice. i will edit it with a few crosses
@Martin59 ahh right I get it... You'd be surprised at how much personal information some people post on here 😂...
Personally I don't know about the email address rerouting because I just stick with Gmail but I'm sure someone will be along soon with the answer to your question... 👍
Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > add
You will need to find out what happens to your email address when you leave Plusnet.
It may be that it is either a) deleted b) kept active c) kept active for a fee.
If the email address is kept active by Plusnet you can set your BTMail account up to fetch the email from Plusnet or you can set Plusnet to forward the emails to the BTMail account.
I think the OP now wants to collect his own domain email on BT rather than his own domain on Plusnet 😉
Just re-read it and I think you are right.👍
