The password change never happened.

I would suggest you make a copy of all important emails, just in case you lose access again.

There are ways to download and save all your emails, but it would be better to ask about that another time.

Ok I will do. All that for nothing, and it’s even working on my iPhone now! 

I’ll let the dust settle for the time being and then I’ll enquire about backing up etc...
