btinterntet.com addresses treated as spam

This week I have a few ordinary incoming messages consigned to spam - people with a bt address that I contact routinely. I normally use Outlook 2007 to read stuff and use webmail only to check for spam - which is when I find my chums' mail.

Is there a setting I've missed or something happening?

No, been like that for a while with me. Just the usual difficulty in telling a**e from elbow by the spam filters. They really haven't got a clue what they are doing.

Even the automatic message alerting me to this from licquorice went into spam!

Re: btinterntet.com addresses treated as spam

There seems to be a problem with BT mail at the moment.

It declares any forum related mails as spam, but it let's other spam through - some of which is downright sleaze.

However, Outlook, nor av software detect some of the rubbish, with plainly obvious keywords which should be detected.

Re: btinterntet.com addresses treated as spam

I received an automated message from theForum today asking if I had my problem solved. Despite coming from BT, it was in my Spam folder. So BT, not fixed!

If you are on the BTMail system, not the BTYahoo system, you could try adding the email address to the "safe senders list".

Log onto your email account via webmail. Go to Settings > Mail > Safe senders > Add > Save.
