dissapearing e mails

since getting multiple devices i have never been able to send an e mail to myself (say from my i phone). or a picture to myself.  the e mail shows for a nanno sec and then disappears.  today i needed to give a 4 digit code from BT to my son because he has been locked out.  the e mail came in and went out.  not to spam. not to trash.  in fact not to any folders.

does this happen to anyone else?  where are they going?  what do i do?  especially as this is BT

Check to see if you have blocked your own email address or the BT domain ie @btinternet.com or any other BT domain such as @bt.com.

Log onto your BTMail account using a browser, not an email client/app, and then click on your username at the right hand side.

Select "Settings" then go to the left hand side and select "Mail". Scroll down and click on "Blocked Senders".

Scroll down the list checking to see if your email address or the BT domain is there and if it is, to unblock it select it and then click on "delete".
