One of my important email addresses is listed as being given away, but the person it is given to is myself !
How do I claim it back so I can add it to my BT ID ?
I have tried using the Import an email address route but it turns out that the one I want to import is associated with another BT ID. As an ex engineer my old BT ID was the BT user name that I had since BT introduced computers at work back in 19........ I had to change it to my current main email address sometime in the past year or so?
If I ask for a passwork reset it only does my new BT ID, not the old one.
Any good ideas how to proceed?

Are you stuck on the below screen ( I have used mine) ? Does the BTID which gets displayed to you with masked * look different from the address you want to import?

Pretty much. The email I need to import seems to be tied to an old BT ID that I cannot access now so it seems I am stuck.
Hi, what i mean is on that screen does the BTID that is masked with x*x*x*x look the same as the email yiu are trying to import?
