email closure

I have just received the following email 3 times which appears to have been sent by me to myself, which it hasn't

Your mailbox is almost full.

0.95 GB

We are closing all old versions of BT Mailbox as from August. 30th.

UPGRADE NOW TO THE NEWEST VERSION

Please do not reply to this message. Mail sent to this address cannot be answered.

I assume that this is a spam email and I can simply delete it?

It is a scam.

Don't click on any links and delete it.

I thought as much. I never click on any links in emails these days.
