email header

Go to solution

My BT phone account used to belong to my mother. It is now in my name, but if I send a message from webmail it has her name in front of my email address. How do I remove it? it isn't anywhere on the account now.

I don't get that if I use Outlook, but Outlook is unstable, and keeps asking for my password even when I haven't changed it since it was last working. If I change my BT passsword, it takes about 2 days for Outlook to recognise the new one. Then after a few days it breaks down again.

Hi @Ystrad2, welcome to the forum, and thanks for posting.

Have you moved your email address over to your BTID now that you've taken over the account? If not try that and see if the issue persists.

Cheers
John

Many thanks - it does seem that I need to change the Primary ID on the account and I have now sent myself a PIN. Let's hope!
