Re: email printing problems

I clicked on the icon (torn page) and the message "Internet Explorer has Stopped Working". I tried again ( NO IE has stopped screen) and the screen seemed to refresh but alas still only Headers and Footers in Print Preview mode as well as actaul print.

Re: email printing problems

Sorry that's me out of ideas at the moment. I'll do some searching and see if I can come up with a solution and post back if I find one.

Re: email printing problems

I have just tried it in Firefox browser and it works OK so this would suggest as Ray has said, it is a problem with IE9. You could, until a fix is found, download Firefox and use that to access your BTYahoo account.

Firefox is a very good browser and you should have no problems using it.

See link for Firefox download

Re: email printing problems

Thanks for that gg30340. But before I try it I must tell you something; Nearly every time I try to attempt to print something from BTYahoo Mail the "Internet Explorer Has Stopped Working" message is displayed. When I try printing from any other web page there is NO "IEHSW" message and the document prints perfectly.

Do you still think i should proceed or wait until you have thought about my reply.

Re: email printing problems

Try Firefox meantime, I'll post back if I find out what's happening or hopefully somebody else has had this problem and already knows the fix.

Re: email printing problems

I am not sure why it would only be happening with the BTYahoo site unless it is a script problem with the site. I don't think this will sort it but is worth a try and that is to reset Internet Explorer, you can do this by:

·         Close any Internet Explorer windows

·         Click Start

·         Click Control Panel

·         Open Internet Options (you may have to switch from category view to icons to find this)

·         Click the Advanced tab

·         Click Reset…

·         Click Reset

·         Click Close

·         Click OK

·         Open Internet Explorer

 Try printing email now.

Re: email printing problems

It has worked. I assume this is a temporary fix until something happens in cyber space to get me back to my old program.

Thank you once again gg30340 and Ray.

Re: email printing problems

What part worked, the downloading of Firefox or the reset of IE9
