email stops

On my Windows 7 machine my email loading stops at  'email.bt.com ' and this is for 2 different addresses. On the Windows 10 machine all works fine. Why and what can I do about it?

Have you tried clearing your browser's  history and cookies?

Windows 7 is an old unsupported system so it may be that your web browser is not compatible. Have you tried a different browser?

It is a good idea and I'll do so.  I will also use Mozilla to see how that goes.  However this problem only started about a week ago and the machine has been working and doing emails for years so I doubt it is that.
