Re: email

Hi,

in webmail...

  1. Make sure you have images turned off, scammers use images to recognise you have read the email.
  2. forward using the forward button to abuse@bt.com they will review the email and take action against the host, you will only get an automated email from them but they do investigate.

Re: email

You still have to open it in webmail before you can forward it though.

Correction, that is only for BTYahoo mail. For BTMail, if you tick the small square box beside the mail the forwarding and reply options appear.

Re: email

You can of course also use an email client., but if all you want to do is safely pass the email to abuse@bt.com then you can do this in the webail interface, just change your settings to not show images and if asked to send a read recipt select 'no'.

Also click the 'spam' button to tell the postmaster.
