When I forward an email with for example PDF attachments, the recipient receives an eml file. How can I stop this happening?
Are you sending the PDF files through our website https://www.bt.com/mail or are you using a third party email ap or client, such as Office, to do so?

Are you logging into our web site BT Mail? It sounds like you are using a different email app such as Outlook. If you haven't logged into our email, try doing so at https://www.bt.com/mail and send an email there.
I would recommend sending a copy to your own email address too to see if you receive it as PDF or the EML format.
