err code: 553

Hi all, could do with some help  please, had some inbox full messages last week from several people, but mailbox wasn't full , now getting this error on sending, incoming ok. get the message on any type of email, even just a test email with test as the heading, seen this error many times on searching the forum but not a definitive fix. 
any help appreciated.

Hi @markbronwen welcome to the community and thanks for posting, I'm sorry you're getting a 553 error when sending emails.

Are you using a public wifi connection to send your emails? If there is no suspicious content in the email it could be a problem being picked up with your broadband connection.

If you haven't tried already can you try to send using webmail by logging into www.bt.com/email
