Over the previous few days I have sent an email to a number of groups members requesting information. I received lots of replies but none from those who are using .gmail.com!!! I checked my settings and it is clear that .gmail.com is not a ‘blocked’ address or domain. I have individually added those .gmail.com group members to my ‘safe senders’ list and they have successfully resent their emails containing the information originally requested.
Why should .gmail.com addressees have been blocked when they weren’t on my blocked list?
BTW - I am daily bombarded with spam/phishing/unwanted emails. All of which I forward to the government site: report@phishing.gov.uk
I’m seriously asking myself why I continue to use BT Mail!!!

that is a good question - why are you persevering with BT Mail when using something like thunderbird on pc or blue mail on mobile would be far better

I thinks James is referring to using BTinternet for emails, rather than via webmail access 🙂
However - I agree he should be using something else - like Gmail. In fact no-one should be using an ISP email address these days. It saves a lot of potential hassles when moving suppliers.
