My Inbox has been moved in its entirety to my sent folder this afternoon. Don't think I've done this in error. Anyone ese had this? How can I reverse it?
Is it the Inbox folder or just its contents that has been moved?
Just the contents
If you click on the sent folder you will see the list of the emails in there. Single click in the box to the left of the emails which selects the emails then go to "Move to" in the menu bar at the top of the list and select "Inbox" or drag and drop them in to the Inbox folder.
You can also select the emails if you hold down the shift key then tick the box to the left of the first email in the list of emails then scroll down using the scroll bar on the right hand side and tick the last email you want to move then release the shift key. It will select all the emails in between. You can then click on "Move to" as above or drag and drop them into the Inbox folder.
There is no other way to do it that I am aware of.
As regards the number that you can move at a time, as a test I have just moved over 130 emails using both the drag and drop method and using the "Move to" method that I posted. If that does not work for you I don't know why you can not do that.
If you have thousands of emails in your Inbox now is perhaps the time to sort them out and create different folders to keep them in rather than en -masse in the Inbox.
Ok. Thanks for your help and taking the time to respond.
My issue isn't resolved. With the new BT email system I cannot apply the bulk transfer of messages method suggested. The max allowed by the new system is 10 messages to be highlit, even to delete them so weeding my inbox is tortuous. Any suggestions gratefully received. BT Email just gets worse.

Please don't post the same problem on more than one thread.
