I assume you're accessing your email via BT Webmail.
If that's the case, you can completely bypass all of Webmail's foibles by using an email client such as Thunderbird. It's a free download and all you need to set it up with your email is the email address and password.

I'm used to BT webmail, and I'm not good at changing what I do. Is BT webmail a BT product, if yes, shouldn't BT get it working? My recent problems were not happening a month or so ago, why has it reverted to yesterday's issues?

An old (mid-2024) problem has today started recurring with my BT email. Cursor randomly starts jumping to the start of the email. This was one of the previous torrent of problems with a new release (in April?). It was fixed a while back so not sure why its returned. Any ideas please?

I've passed it on to the relevant team for them to investigate and they're working on a fix as soon as possible.
