"Welcome to your new and improved email service" email

I received the email of the title of this post from "no-reply_email_service@bt.com"  yesterday, 17th.

Strange email...  Pictures didn't display, Link to an explanitory video, www.bt.com/emailchanges ,  failed (just went to BT support page, with no info in the Email Support section). 

My concern is that over the last week or so my email has been misbehaving.  I download my messages to Outlook.  What should happen is that only the new messages download, but instead Outlook has decided to download all my messages, giving me duplicates of them all, and if not intercepted, multiple duplicates.  Have BT changeds the marker to identify downloaded messages, confusing Outlook?

Seems this was a 2020 email that somehow got into my current list of emails while I was trying to resolve the 'duplicates' problem - sorry for the confusion, but I still have a problem of duplicates (and multiple duplicates)
