why can't I access my emails for 48 hours?

a live chat operative told me all BT customers were locked out for 48 hours, I asked them if they were sure and they said yes but this info has been proven to be untrue

The 48-hour lock out claim is definitely a lot of cobblers. Are you having a problem accessing yours?

I had a problem on my laptop so contacted online chat who told me all BT customers were locked out but later I found this was a lie

email works on pc but not on mobiles. 1 is samsung 1 is huawei so cant be phone problem. suppose wait till 48 hours up  and hope all ok

I can access email on phone and tablet (both Samsung) but not on Pc - actually I can on the Pc but not in the normal way.

If I use the Email link on the BT home page and enter name and password I just get the little spinning wheel thing - BUT - if I then hit the browser (chrome)  back button the email page comes up as normal.
