As a simple way of transferring a PDF from my PC for use on my phone(e.g. for WhatsApp), from Outlook I send an e-mail, with the PDF attached, to myself on my BT account and try to read this using the BT Email client.
The issue I have is that, more often than not, the attachment doesn't appear as a PDF - but there is an attachment - winmail.dat - which I cannot open.
This doesn't happen if I send to my Gmail account and read my Gmail on my phone.
Am I doing something wrong or is this another of those odd BT Email features?
Any suggestions welcome
