I have two or more BT mail accounts all connected to the same BT email @btinternet.com account. Now just over the last day or two emails being sent out are showing as a combination of firstname.lastname@example.org and Btemail2@btinternet.com, so when thery are replied to they show up in the from field of the message. whats going on? I am signed into email@example.com whiy does the second account show up on an email sent from that account?
RESOLVED on my own. For some strange reason the name anbd address settings in the profile had copied over from the second email to the first and were being used for the first email address. Very weird, and NOT something I would have done by mistake and not without knowing either. Very odd indeed, but fixed.
