Re: Are BT emails down

It is  DNS problem at BT. If you have a mobile phone, switch off your wireless connection and use your mobile phone's 4/5g connection.

Re: Are BT emails down

you would think one of the BT staff working from home would have woken up by now and at least put a message up for cutomers

Re: Are BT emails down

Whilst your advice about using mobile data may be useful for some I don't think it is a case of not being bothered to read the thread, some people have no mobile coverage at their location and after all this time it would be expected that BT would have some sort of message to inform those customers who do not use this forum.

no bt e mails - wake up bt!

You would think that at least one of the BT staff working from home would have woken up by now and noticed the problem !

Is it too much to ask of a massive corporation that they at least put a notice on their web site explaining the problem and what they are doing to sort it ?

Re: Are BT emails down

If you access your email via 4G, though a mobile phone personal hotspot (and by pass BT internet) then you can access your emails

Re: Are BT emails down

Can confirm same issue in Mid Sussex.  No emails since last night but phone strangely had them until 9.45am.  Tried sending myself a Test email on phone but no luck.  Tried again with wi-fi turned off and it came through on the BT Email app which I rarely use as the app has been useless for a couple of years, very slow.  Seems emails have come through on the Blue Mail App now so that's a workaround until BT sorts whatever it is.  Barclays down last week, BT this week, isn't technology great!! ðŸ™„
