Thanks so much to the Community in sharing this- one can feel very alone and helpless, and the BT website says nothing about this major issue as far as I can see!
BT website gives this message:
"We're aware that some BT email customers are unable to access their email. We are investigating the cause of this and as an alternative, impacted customers can switch off wifi and use mobile data to access their email. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused."
Didn't work for me. EMails from tablet wifi turned off and so using mobile data connection still sitting queued in the outbox despite several resends.
No need to be rude to folks.
It's a fair point that finding an "official" confirmation from BT that there is an ongoing issue is near impossible.
People visit the status page and get told by BT there isn't a problem so worry it's at their end.
Yep, thanks, this is my experience. I don't know where that message was, but I didn't see it, and again am so thankful for this Community. My 4G seems to work for me, on my mobile, so I am grateful.
Down here for me, webmail and Outlook.
same here i get a message.
Check if there is a typo in email.bt.com.
BT email down here in Manchester too. Canno access emails via all options (BT.com, MS Outlook, iPhone email. Mobile data option as suggested by BT in a earlier post also does not work.
