Email has stopped working on all platforms 13:01 25th Feb
Working this morning, now down.
Check if there is a typo in email.bt.com.

The mail system was down, but the server you are using is not the correct one. See:-
unless you mean you can't connect via webmail which is shown on the above page.
Getting the dreaded "’we are experiencing issues with the service, please try again later" again: laptop and iPad, including using a new browser that's never accessed BT mail before.
Seen this on various threads (this seems the most recent) but haven't ever seen any sign of an actual explanation. Been getting this more and more frequently over the last months.
I'm regularly getting this message while writing emails, but they usually go through anyway!
This was when trying to open up BT email to see messages - and it showed me nothing but the error panel. Tried for a couple of hours before abandoning.
As others have mentioned, email was unavailable overnight. Very, very frustrating.
Equally frustrating is the BT Live Status page telling me there are no issues in my area.
Thankfully I have email access again now, so whatever the non-issue was, has been resolved.
Seriously though BT, sort your status page out, and perhaps even give a little detail on why we can't access our emails. Again.
My other question is, have any emails been lost while I was unable to see my account & was being told there were zero emails in my Inbox? Between midnight and 10am only 1 email arrived and this concerns me as I'd usually expect to see more than this, even on a Sunday.
Not down, but running VERY slowly tonight. Not my internet connection, as all other websites are running as normal - just BT's webmail that's taking forever to load.
