Thank you! I can get emails on my phone connected to 4G. It's a problem only when devices are connected to wifi. Still, hope it's fixed soon! Panic over but not great service.

I can access BT mail from the mail app on my iPhone, worth a try on your mobile

OK, so BT email is down.  We don't know why.  But the other question  is ' Why is there no word  from BT' ? 
Even here in a very rural bit of Wales,  when the water goes there's an online map of problems, and robo-voice phone messages.  The council has a web page for when the bin collection  system breaks down.   
So is there anything on BT's website this morning to say . "Sorry. E-mail is down because (reason). We're working on it , and hope to have it back by (whenever")?
 No. Nothing.
Or have they done what our IT department once did and sent us an e-mailto explain why ithe e-mail isn't working?

BT's job is, allegedly, is communication. So why are they so inept at communicating?
