I have started using my BT Email account and last week created two email addresses.....all is fine and working as it should. later in the week I tried to create another account and received a message along the lines of you can only create one email per day. I have now waited a week and I am still receiving the same message, I have tried to get this block removed, does anyone know if there is a phone number that will get me through to someone who can help. I have two accounts one being with EE, they share the same login and mobile details, I am wondering if this is flagging something up in the system. Secondly has anyone managed to successfully add external email addresses to their account, I have attempted this and the system just hangs up trying to verify the account. Did you become a BT Broadband customer after October 2022 or were you are a customer prior to October 2022 and did you have at least one active email account prior to that date?.
I have had my BT account for over ten years, the email account has been active and its part of my package. I created two new email accounts last week, no problem at all. I want to create another account but the system is telling me only one a day and I will have to wait until tomorrow or later....or something to that effect, that has been practically a week ago. I understand that there is a clock and I would like it reset.
If you also have an EE account are you currently an active BT or EE broadband customer?
No idea why anyone would willingly create a new BT email account. Just create a Gmail or Outlook account that can be used with any ISP.
