Emails not sent/received from a NOS router

I'm in Portugal using a NOS router for WiFi.  All Internet working fine for all equipment. (Phone, Tablets, TV) except for sending receiving emails to my BT Email account.

When I go onto my BT webmail a/c via using Chrome, I  can see my emails and I've even sent emails to myself on webmail to check and that works OK.

On both my Android  phone and tablet using Outlook, nothing has updated, for my emails (sent & received) and the Calendar, since leaving UK on 13 Sept.

I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Outlook, turning the router off & unplugging, waiting 30 secs before restarting.

As I say everything connected to the Internet is working fine, except  for email.

I have checked and doubled checked the BT email settings on the Outlook app and all is as per the BT requirements.

I have used this system for a few years without issues.

I first noticed a problem a month or so ago when I stopped receiving email alerts from my cctv here inPortugal, its only when I arrived yesterday I realised the issue must be between my router/NOS and BT ?

Any thoughts..it's driving me crazy ?

Re: Emails not sent/received from a NOS router

Sorry, I should have clarified, that having uninstalled Outlook I am unable to link my BTinternet onto to Outlook account. ..the response is unable..I've tried several times, again using the correct details for SMTP/IMAP ports.

So for the moment the only way I can access my emails whilst in Portugal is via BT webmail directly.

I thought I read somewhere that two stage verification could be an issue..but I've never had this as an issue before and do not normally need that for emails via Outlook.

Hi @no1steveb

We can't guarantee email services abroad. If webmail is working for you, I recommend using that until you get back to the UK. If you continue to have the issues with email on your phone and tablet when you return to the UK, our technical support team will be able to look into it for you.
