More of a nuisance than a critical problem..
I access BT email via the BT website, and I use McAfee True Key to open the email login page and send the login details with one click. The problem is that this always requires two attempts. The first attempt always generates the error code TS-0003. Closing the page and immediately repeating the process (by clicking on BT Email in the True Key list) is always successful. The difference between the two attempts seems to be that on first attempt BT mail login presents a single login box asking for both account name and password, and True Key sends all the data at once, but in the second attempt BT mail presents two separate login boxes - one for the account name, and then one for the password. It's as if True Key is sending the data too fast for the BT Mail system to handle on first attempt, but sending in two separate actions is successful.
I use Firefox. VPN is off.
If you were to login without True Key that is how you would be presented with the login pages.
Username first then another page with the user name entered but the password section blank and needing to be entered at which point you would gain access.
Thanks
That gives me an idea. It may be that True Key is accessing login page 2 of 2 on first attempt.
I will edit the login page address in True Key.
Nope. That didnt work. True Key is accessing the same login pages, in the same order, that I would use manually.
When I take the data from True Key and enter it manually, I get first-time access to my email account. But when True Key sends the same data I get the pop-up 'Connection Error - TS-0003' and a suggestion that I contact BT to reset my password.
Very strange.
