Im changing over to EE from BT. Now as I understand it you can keep your existing BT email address. However I am also changing over the account name. It was regestered to my wife and linked to my staff discount but will now be under my name with EE.
What I would like to know if this means it will change to the base webmail access or can I link it and still keep email Standard, otherwise it looks like I will have to pay extra to keep it?

You will need to check with BT/EE to see what will happen but I suspect that if the BT Broadband account holder is changing then effectively it is a new broadband account and the "old" BT Broadband account's email accounts will be downgraded to BTMail Basic which can only be used with a web browser.
