I have BT Halo 3 Broadband package including E-mail, landline and two mobiles.
My mobile contract is no longer available and I am expecting it to be terminated at a yet unspecified date. I cannot change to EE mobile as they do not include 'roam like home' in basic subscription. How much notice of termination of my current BT mobile contract can I expect?
I am anxious about what happens to my BT E-mail service when my broadband contract expires at the end of this year. I found it very stressful 11 years ago to change from a yahoo address when BT internet E-mail started. I'm too old now (80) to go through this again. If I change (a.k.a. upgrade') to EE Halo 3 will I still be able to use my @btinternet.com address, and would my previous E-mails still be accessible? This is too important a matter to rely on the telephoned word of an overenthusiastic salesperson.
I would have expected to find this covered in your F-AQs but I find:
"If I get broadband from BT, can I link my existing BT email address to my new broadband account?
- Yes, you'll be able to link it to your new broadband account [with whom?]. You can only do this once your broadband has been set up and activated.
- We'll send you confirmation of your broadband activation, and once you get this you can follow the advice to Move an email address (mailbox)."
I am autistic and find it hard to read this unambiguously. Does the mean 'Yes' or 'No'?

Your BT email address will continue to work as before.
No idea what you mean by changing from a Yahoo address 11 years ago when BT started. BT email started long before that. If you mean that's when you moved to BT and took up a BT email address, there was absolutely no need to stop using your Yahoo address.
