No, I haven't. I was just following the instructions so it wasn't affiliated to my account and didn't get the option.

I want to create an e-mail address for a family member but do not have the option to choose "friends and family" I would be grateful for any help please. Thank you
You need to "gift" an email address to them.
See this link.
I would suggest a better option is create gmail email addresses for them. That way the email address will not be tied to your BT Broadband account should you ever want to move away from BT or are no longer the BT Broadband account holder.
Why on earth would you want to create a new ISP email address, it's bad enough being tied to a longstanding non portable ISP address.
Just use a Gmail address.
Thank you so much for your reply . I think your suggestion is the better option 😃
Many thanks. I think that is a better option.
Still puzzled though as to why I do not have the option to gift to friends and family.
Have you previously given an email address to a "friend and family"?
It is a long time since I set up any BTMail email addresses but from memory you do not see the "family and friends" section until you have actually set up an additional email account and "gifted" it to another.
This then moves the email address from being one of your email accounts that you have all the functions to fully manage it ie change password and delete , to the "family and friends" section where you can no longer access it or manage it,(without knowing the password) because the recipient of the email account now becomes the owner and manager.ie they can change the password.
All you can do is remove the email account from your BT Broadband account. ie delete it.
Sorry about this thread now being out of chronological order. I moved it from the Billing board to the email board and unfortunately it did not go smoothly.
