Talk21 email

Can anyone advise, my wife has a talk21 email which she has had for probably 20 years and it has stopped downloading as of this morning new emails. She recalls a message popping up about “to continue using” but thought it was spam and deleted it - so I can’t access it in deleted items.

to add to the complications she can’t remember her password and it doesn’t appear to be stored in her phone password app and when we click on the forgot password option no combination of don, post code and mothers maiden name papers to be recognised.

trie dot call the help number but was told a a minimum of 60minutes wait. Thanks

Are you trying to access the emails using an app?  If so try using webmail to access the account as you may have been downgraded to basic mail so can no longer use app

Unfortunately we can’t access webmail as we can’t remember the password and it any recognising the dob, post code and maiden name prompter. 

we’re trying to access that n her phone as she has done for years. Thanks

if you are not a BT broadband customer then it is possible that the account has been downgraded to basic email which only allows access using webmail not using an app
