I was saying you couldn't use the "Block Sender" or "Block Domain" tabs in the email or the "Block Sender" in settings.
You never said that. You said " You can't set up a blocked sender with a blank.". and I was pointing out that if you receive an email with a blank email address there is a method which can get you the email address and domain in order to add it to the "Blocked Senders" list.
In any event use what ever works for you.
" You can't set up a blocked sender with a blank.".
Exactly that ... where else would would you set up something other than in settings.

By ticking the box to the left of the email in your list then going to "More" in the menu bar and selecting "Block Sender" or "Block Domain".
I'll now leave you to do which ever method suits you.
That options don't exist. They are now on the tab line
Under More
My apologies for that. You are apparently using a web browser on a PC or Laptop where as I was using on a mobile device with the mobile browser which does not show those in the "Menu Bar" without clicking on the "More" button.
My post is about adding the email and domain that you found via "Source" manually to the "Blocked Senders" list which can be found within the "Settings" not via the "Menu" bar which will be greyed out if there is no email address.
My post clearly states how to get to the "settings", "Once you have that information you need click on your username at the top right hand side select "Settings" then click on "Mail" in the left hand column and select "Blocked Senders". The Blocked Senders list will open."
