i am contantly receiving emails from *.harvordlow.com

I am receiving hundreds of emails per month off harvordlow.com and its sub domains which change daily. Indeed the IPAddress changes daily. 

Is there no way off blocking this nuisance with a wildcard?

No there is no option to use wildcards with BTMail. 

You could try setting up a Rule" to delete the emails or you could try calling BT 0330.1234.150 and ask to get put through to the Email department and ask them if they can block it before it gets to your email account.

That number of emails per month suggests they know it is a live email address.

Do you open the emails?  Do they automatically download images?  If the latter then it tells them this is a live email address, (as it has to call back to the server for the image).

Ideally, don’t open the emails at all or set your mail client to process them as text only, not HTML.  (You should also be able to set your client to not download the images automatically, only if you click on the link).

Even spam is sent for a reason and therefore the sender wants a response.  If you don’t open any of them they eventually peter out and more or less stop, as they appear to be a waste of time for the sender.  If it’s well established though, it will take a while for them to get the message.

dont open anything thay your not sure of the source set up a fliter to block the domain   

or keep marking it as spam without opening

Thank you all for the suggestions. I have many rules set already to delete them before they get to my account. I have set my email client to not load remote content so I shall see how I get on.

If only the wildcard was possible. These scoundrels as I mentioned use a new sub domain all but daily along with IP address change. 

It bewilders me as to why they go to such extremes to send the same garbage which is largely Renewing non existent security services or my cloud photos are getting deleted and so forth.

Touch wood i've certainly got rid of these nuisance emails. Systematically creating rules for the various sub domains and IPaddresses used by these people has eliminated them for the time being. I'm sure they'll start again with new credentials but for now is dropped from hundreds to one or two.
