does the BT email service still support windows live mail 2012?

please note: I'm not asking about windows mail or windows 10 mail app or anything else.

its windows live mail 2012.

just an ordinary someone@btinternet.com its not a busimness email or anything

BT mail service can be accessed by ANY mail client that supports IMAP or POP3. You can even access it directly via telnet if you wish.
