1571 with Fax Macine

Can I use my fax machine on a line with BT Call Minder enabled ?  The Call Minder will pick up the call ahead of the fax machine but if it is a fax call will Call Minder stop recording and allow the fax machine to deal with it.  It works fine on the existing answer machine but that is plugged into the fax machine so it is easy to drop the line to the answering machine when the fax tone is detected, difficult to see how 1571 could do that.

Are you confusing call minder with the 1571 answer service ?

There will be a conflict with the 1571 service and the fax machine. If 1571 answers the call 1st the fax will not be received. If the fax machine answers the call 1st the caller will not be able to leave a message on 1571.
