My 91 year old vulnerable relative’s landline has not been working since an Openreach engineer visited on 23.4 26 to switch to digital. In the meantime she was given a different landline number which meant that she could only dial out and not receive calls. This week she was assured that her original number would be restored but all that has happened is that people can dial into the number and leave a message but she cannot access the messages and she cannot now even dial out on the phone. She & her son have had several calls with BT but to no avail. Please help!
