BT 3560 cordless +amswerphone

I have just installed the subject mentioned phone and made a mistake in my answerphone recorded outgoing message . I recorded a second (correct) message expecting it to overwrite the first but when I click on "PLAY" it still plays the first, incorrect message and I can't see how to delete either or both.

There are two outgoing messages, Answer & Record or Answer Only. Check you're re-recording the right one from P.36 of the manual & also that you're selecting the correct answer mode.
