Yesterday I accidently dropped one of our BT8600 handsets down the toilet pan. Don't ask.
I dried it off as best I could then left it in a bag of rice seeds overnight. First thing this morning it looked as if there was still a small amount of moisture on the screen so I left it. I later took it out the rice and pressed a button but all I get now is an illuminated screen completely blank. I have dial tone and I have just accepted a call on it with no problem.
Has anyone any suggestions to fix the problem other than get another handset?
