Per title really, when I try to add a number online i get this error:
Error while saving your changes. Please try again
Trying with 1572 option 1 add last number I get a message saying the number cannot be added due to changes being made to my account.
I added Call Protect yesterday morning, so i think it should be working my now as the order was completed same day.

where I can access the Landline Security and by clicking though I get to the same page as before where i try to add the number, but it still gives me the same error.
I am assuming you pay BT for your service and have signed up for BT Call Protect.
I have just tried the link and you are right it just takes you "broadband security". BT have obviously changed things since I last used it a few weeks ago.
However, if you scroll down you will find BT Call Protect with the various options, one of which is to add number to your black list.
I don't have a number to blacklist so I can't test any further. Entering a previously blacklisted number tells me it already blacklisted.
Mildly frustrating that you have to make a few more clicks.
Yes I can get to the page to add a number and as my first post I get an error and 1572 doesn’t work either
i raised it as a fault this morning and bt magically converted it into a slow broadband fault and booked an engineer to come tomorrow which I have cancelled
Tbh it’s getting ridiculous so I will cancel the service later today

I've had a lot more scam calls since I added Call Protect. It's almost like someone has access to the BT database and is selling it to scammers.
